Free WiFi, excellent location, helpful staff.
Small rooms, odd furnishing. Very modern furnishing with very old doors, floors, etc. Windows open into a small courtyard about 2 meter wide, view of a wall.

We thought that the staff people on duty were particularly friendly and helpful. The location is great for a sf family adventure weekend.
If would have been nice if there had been a bathtub in the larger room. I should have inquired about that ahead of time.

I was placed in a room facing Ellis Street. There was a nightclub outside and the air conditioning unit let in all the noise from the nightclub. It was unfortunate that I was placed in such a noisy room despite there being other quieter rooms available. I literally had 2 hrs sleep on the thurs night. I was informed the room could not be modified due to the building being listed.

I loved being just a few steps from Union Square and the San Francisco cable car stop right around the corner. My overall stay was cozy, and the staff provided a lovely welcome gift of wine and water, a nice touch for a single traveler like me.

Great location, very helpful friendly staff, clean and comfortable and it was very quiet . We slept in ever day !
I would have liked to be able to make tea in our room , there was only a coffee machine and no kettle.
